Cypher N Delivers Full Meeting Notes to Google Docs and a Note Taker You Can Invite to Any Meeting
Cypher LM's note taker writes detailed, end-to-end notes from the whole conversation, not a three-line summary, and can now join Google Meet meetings on its own
LAHORE, Pakistan – A three-line summary of a one-hour meeting is not notes. It leaves out the numbers, the decisions, the objections and the promises that the next conversation depends on. Cypher N, the note taker in the Cypher LM platform, now writes full, detailed notes from the whole transcript of every meeting and delivers them to Google Docs, and it adds a note taker that can join a Google Meet on its own.
Cypher N reads the entire conversation, however long it is. It writes an overview, the list of attendees, action items with an owner and a due date, and the agreed next steps. It then works through the meeting topic by topic: every substantive point and who made it, the decisions taken, the open questions and risks, the commitments, and the numbers and dates mentioned. Long meetings are split into parts that are written in parallel and merged, so the notes stay complete without making anyone wait. Speaker names come from the meeting itself, so each point is attributed to the person who made it rather than to a generic speaker label.
Every meeting is saved as its own Google Doc when the business connects Google, and the notes are also shown in the dashboard and available as a Markdown export. Calls with the Cypher V voice agent get the same treatment: each call ends with a recap containing a summary, key points, action items and a drafted follow-up, emailed to the business owner and ready to send to the customer from the business's own Gmail. Action items can be checked off in the dashboard as the team completes them, and a running Google Doc of call notes keeps the newest conversations at the top.
“Our customers asked for notes they could actually work from, at the level of the best note takers they had used, not a paragraph that sounds right and misses half the meeting,” said Muhammad Maaz, co-founder and CTO of Cypher LM. “Cypher N now writes from every line of the conversation, so the decisions and numbers that matter are on the page.”
A note taker you can invite. Accounts with Cypher N can now send a note taker into a Google Meet. From Notes › New note, a team member pastes the meeting link and the note taker joins as the Cypher N note taker, records the conversation from the meeting's live captions with each speaker's name, and writes the notes when the meeting ends or when someone presses Stop and write notes. From My Calendar, any booked meeting can be set to “Invite note taker”, and the note taker joins automatically shortly before it starts. Meetings of up to several hours are supported, and the full conversation is kept rather than only its final minutes.
Cypher LM is also rolling out a third way in: adding the note taker's own email address to a calendar invite, the same way a colleague would be invited. The note taker serves only Cypher LM accounts with Cypher N or Cypher M, so it cannot be sent into meetings by people outside the business. Cancelled meetings cancel the note taker's visit, and moved meetings move it, so the note taker turns up only when the meeting does.
The note taker is built for accounts that have Cypher N without the Cypher M copilot. It does the same notes job as Cypher M, without live suggestions or a pre-meeting brief. When a meeting has both products switched on, only Cypher M joins, because it already writes the notes. Customers on the other side of the meeting see a clearly named participant, so everyone knows the conversation is being recorded for notes. Accounts without Cypher N still keep a full transcript of every call, and can add the note taker at any time.
“Not every team needs a copilot in the meeting, but every team needs the notes,” said Muhammad Maaz, co-founder and CTO of Cypher LM. “Now a business with Cypher N can invite a note taker and walk away with a complete record of the conversation.”
Full meeting notes and the Google Meet note taker are available today to Cypher LM accounts with Cypher N, as part of the Premium plan or as an add-on, and during the seven-day free trial. Learn more about Cypher N.
