Quick answer

To find and manage an agent:

  1. Select Agents in the sidebar.
  2. Filter by status, for example Live or Needs attention.
  3. Select an agent to open its page, or use the card menu.
  4. Use Test call to hear it right away.

Cypher V agents are the AI voices that answer your customers. The Agents page lists every agent on your account with its status and recent activity, and each agent has its own page where you change how it sounds, what it knows, what it can do and where it is deployed. This article explains what you see and where to go next.

The Agents page

Select Agents in the sidebar. The page has three tabs: All agents, Knowledge base (your shared library of files every agent can use) and Voices (the voices you can choose from).

On All agents, filter by status and sort by Last call, Name A–Z, Most calls or Newest. Each status means:

Status

Meaning

Live

The agent is set up and can take calls.

Needs attention

Something stops it from working fully. Select Fix › or Add it › on the card to resolve it.

Building

Setup is still running. This usually takes under a minute.

Not live

The agent exists but isn't taking calls, for example while your plan is paused.

Failed

Setup didn't finish. Open the agent and try again, or contact support.

Agent card actions

Every card has a Test call button and a menu with these actions:

  • Open agent page and Deployment settings
  • Copy website code and Copy call link
  • View calls to see only this agent's calls
  • Why isn't it answering?, a troubleshooter that checks the common reasons an agent isn't picking up
  • Delete agent

Why isn't it answering? is the first place to look when callers say they can't reach your agent. It checks things like whether your plan is active, whether the agent finished setting up and whether your website address is allowed for the widget, and tells you what to fix.

The agent page

Open an agent to see six tabs. The top bar always has Copy call link and Test call.

Tab

What's there

Overview

Calls and questions to review, performance for the last 30 days, a setup summary and recent activity.

Controls

Name, tone, gender, voice, job, call length, meeting hours and phone number. See How to edit your agent's controls.

Knowledge

Files, FAQ entries, questions it couldn't answer and a test tool. See Knowledge base overview.

Skills

Booking, payments, note taker, live copilot, follow-ups and outbound calls. See Agent skills.

Deployment

Website widget, share links and phone numbers. See Ways to deploy your agent.

Calls

This agent's calls, with filters for Flagged and Recaps.

Delete an agent

  1. On Agents, open the menu on the agent's card and select Delete agent.
  2. Type the agent's name to confirm.
  3. Select delete. The agent stops answering calls everywhere, including your website widget and call links.

Deleting can't be undone. If you only want the agent to stop for a while, remove its widget code from your website instead, or turn off the skills you don't need.

Keep an eye on your agents

The agent's Overview tab is the quickest health check. To review collects Flagged calls and questions it Couldn't answer, so you can see at a glance what needs fixing. Performance shows calls answered, meetings booked, payments received and follow-ups created over the last 30 days. Setup summarises the voice, knowledge, skills and deployment in one place: select any row to jump to the tab where you change it.

Make it a habit to open each agent once a week, clear the To review items and check that Recent activity looks normal. Small fixes made early stop the same question from going wrong on many calls.
