Cypher LM and Zapier
Quick answer
Where Zapier stands today:
- There is no Cypher LM app in Zapier yet; Automations › Apps shows it as a preview.
- Webhooks are in Automations › Developers, which is in beta and not open to accounts yet.
- Email sales@cypherlm.com to ask for early access.
Many teams want new calls, bookings and follow-ups from Cypher LM to flow into other tools, such as a CRM, a spreadsheet or a team chat. Zapier is a common way to do that. This article explains honestly where a Zapier connection stands today and how it will work.
What exists today
There is no Cypher LM app listed in Zapier yet. In the dashboard, Automations › Apps shows Zapier alongside other tools, but that tab says: "Google and Stripe are connected live. The apps below are previews with sample data — nothing there runs yet." Selecting Zapier there opens a preview only.
What works live today without Zapier:
- Google Sheets call log: every call, booking and payment written to a sheet you own. Many tools, including Zapier, can watch a Google Sheet for new rows. See How to connect Google.
- Automatic emails for calls, bookings and payments in Automations › Emails.
- Export CSV from Calls and Contacts for one-off imports.
How webhooks will connect Cypher LM to Zapier
Cypher LM has signed webhooks and a REST API built for developers. They live in Automations › Developers (marked Beta). Developer access is not open to accounts yet: the tab says "API keys and webhooks aren't open to accounts yet; we'll let you know as soon as you can create them." Once it opens for your account, you will be able to connect Zapier like this:
- In Zapier, create a Zap with the Webhooks by Zapier trigger and choose Catch Hook. Copy the URL Zapier gives you.
- In Cypher LM, go to Automations › Developers and add a webhook with that URL.
- Choose the events to send, for example
call.completedorbooking.created. - Select Send test in Cypher LM. Zapier receives a
pingevent so you can map the fields. - Add the action steps you want in Zapier and turn the Zap on.
The events Cypher LM sends are:
Event | Sent when |
|---|---|
call.completed | A call with one of your agents ends. |
booking.created | An appointment is booked. |
booking.rescheduled | A booking moves to a new time. |
booking.cancelled | A booking is cancelled. |
booking.no_show | A booking is marked as a no-show. |
task.completed | An outbound task call finishes. |
meeting.summarized | Meeting notes are ready. |
Each delivery is signed so your receiver can check it came from Cypher LM, and failed deliveries are retried several times. The same webhooks work with other automation tools that accept a webhook URL.
Plans
API and webhook access is part of Premium, the free trial and Enterprise. Basic does not include it. See Plans and billing.
Using the Google Sheets call log with Zapier today
If you need an automation now, connect Google first and let Cypher LM write your call log sheet. Then, in Zapier, use the Google Sheets trigger for a new or updated row on the Calls, Bookings or Payments tab. Each row carries the caller's details, the agent, the time and a short summary, so you can send it on to a CRM, a team chat or an email digest. Because Cypher LM updates rows in place when a booking moves or a payment is marked paid, choose the "new or updated row" style of trigger if your next step needs the latest status.
Ask for early access
- Email sales@cypherlm.com, or use the form at cypherlm.com/contact.
- Say which tool you want to connect and which events you need.
- We will tell you when developer access is available for your account.
