Cypher M copilot overview
Quick answer
To use Cypher M for the first time:
- Open Copilot in the dashboard sidebar.
- Select Start session and choose who you are calling.
- Read the Brief, then let Copilot listen and suggest answers.
- Select End session to get a summary and action items.
Cypher M is the live copilot for the people on your team. Your voice agents (Cypher V) answer customers on their own; Cypher M helps a human who is about to talk to a customer, or is already talking to one. It prepares a brief from everything the customer has said to your agents before, listens to the conversation, and puts short, practical suggestions on screen while you speak.
This article explains what Cypher M does, where it lives in the dashboard, and what you need to use it.
What Cypher M does
Cypher M works in three moments: before the conversation, during it, and after it ends.
Moment | What you get | Where you see it |
|---|---|---|
Before | A brief built from the customer's past calls with your agents | Copilot session, the contact's profile, and the My calendar event popup |
During | Live suggestions tagged Answer, Next step, Objection or Reminder | The live session page, or a pop-out window |
After | A summary, action items and the full transcript | The ended session, and Notes when Cypher N files the meeting |
Suggestions draw on your business details, your knowledge base and your playbooks, so they reflect your real prices and policies rather than generic advice. You stay in charge: a suggestion is only a hint until you press Use.
What is in a brief
When the person you are calling has spoken to one of your agents before, Copilot writes a brief from those calls. The card shows how many calls it used and when it was last updated. Each section appears only when there is something to say:
- What they want: the reason they keep getting in touch.
- So far: a short history of what has happened across their calls.
- Open items: questions or requests that are still unresolved.
- Concerns: objections or worries they have raised.
- Promises made: anything your agent or team said you would do.
- Suggested opening: a first line you can say to pick up where things left off.
- Next steps: what should happen after this conversation.
Cypher M recognizes the same person across calls even when they called from the website one day and by phone another, as long as a phone number or email links the calls. If the person is new, there is no brief, but suggestions still use your playbooks and business details.
Prepare for a meeting from My calendar
For meetings booked through Cypher S, you can ask for a brief ahead of time:
- Go to Bookings and open the My calendar tab.
- Select the meeting to open its popup.
- In the Conversation summary section, select Onboard Cypher M.
- Cypher M prepares the brief and emails it to you. It also appears in the popup.
If your Google account is connected with permission to read Gmail, the brief can also include recent emails with that customer. See How to connect Google Workspace.
Where Cypher M works
You run Copilot from the dashboard at cypherlm.com/dashboard. It works in Chrome, Edge and Safari on a computer. Firefox does not support the speech features Copilot uses, so choose another browser for sessions.
For video meetings, Cypher M can hear both sides of a Google Meet call when you share the Meet tab with it. A meeting bot that joins Meet as a guest is also built and is switched on per workspace; until it is available to you, the dashboard shows it as coming soon. See How to use Cypher M in Google Meet.
Plans and access
Cypher M is included in the Premium plan and during the free trial. On other plans it can be added as the Cypher M add-on, which also includes Cypher N notes. The Basic plan includes the voice agent only. Compare options on the pricing page or in Settings › Usage & plan.
